This book was an emotional roller-coaster ride combining the seriousness of World War Two with the colourful characters as the story unfolded. One minute I found myself crying and the next, laughing out loud - just loved ‘Marcus’ with his fabulous one-liners and descriptive language. This is truly a book that you will not be able to put down, once you begin you just don’t want the story to stop - a great weekend read! |
