Does This Make My Gun Look Big?

DOES THIS MAKE MY GUN LOOK BIG?
by Liz Williams

Would you like to drive cars at speed…legally? Stop gang confrontations armed only with your hands? Tackle someone twice your size and win? Parachute into an aircraft hangar? Clear cannabis plantations with a Swiss Army knife? Meet murderers, drug addicts and sex offenders and live to tell the tale?

Then join the Air Force or the Police Force.

Or if that sounds like too much hard work, you can read about it instead through Liz Williams’s humorous and sometimes shocking experiences. This autobiography is packed with policing mishaps and adventures; life on the thin blue line from a short female perspective. She recounts her beginings as a misty-eyed 17-year-old Air Force recruit before moving to the New Zealand Police and then on to her current position in the CIB.

Liz Williams now lives in Palmerston North in a house made of straw with her husband, child and various stray animals. She still works for the New Zealand Police.
